Challenges faced by foreign languages teachers in working with students of technical specialties during distance learning

Abstract

UA: У роботі розглянуто основні виклики, що постали перед викладачами іноземних мов у роботі зі студентами технічних спеціальностей, що передбачають пряму взаємодію викладача та здобувачів вищої освіти, у зв'язку із впровадженням дистанційної освіти та шляхи їх подолання. Масштабне впровадження інноваційних технологій отримало новий поштовх у розвитку освітніх інструментів, а з іншого – такий тип навчання виявив його основні проблеми і недоліки. Середовище дистанційного навчання Moodle є одним з тих, що активно використовується закладами вищої освіти та покликано вирішити цю нагальну проблему. Але важко відслідковувати діяльність студентів під час онлайн-занять, особливо коли ситуація ускладнена постійними перепонами в спілкуванні та нестабільністю підключення до Інтернету, великою кількістю файлів з навчальними матеріалами або технічними проблемами з комп’ютерами. EN: Nowadays the modern society has set a new global task for the higher education institutions of all countries - the need to ensure access to higher education for increasingly broad spheres of society, since for any country the degree of its economic, technological development, the well-being of society is proportional to the average level of knowledge, abilities, skills and qualifications of its active population. As it is known people with high qualifications are better adapted to possible changes in the job profile, are less vulnerable in cases of its loss, are able to update and improve the level of their knowledge and skills. Modern society needs mass, high-quality education that can meet the demands of consumers and producers of material and spiritual goods.
