Hauptmerkmale des lehrens wissenschaftlichen schreibens für studierende technischer fachgebiete

Abstract

ENG: The main task of modern Ukrainian higher education system is to train highly qualified specialists who combine existing knowledge of a foreign language and speech skills with communicative readiness to interact with Ukrainian and foreign partners. The article actualizes the peculiarities of teaching scientific academic writing to students of technical specialties at non language universities and highlights the requirements for educational competencies that must be possessed by the engineer of the XXI century. The purpose of the article is to review the main tasks of teaching scientific written speech, which are gradually implemented considering the psychological and pedagogical features of teaching a foreign language to students of technical specialties. The content of practical work includes the basics of academic writing, in particular the rules of text construction; some stylistic recommendations, lexical and grammatical features of scientific language; formulating definitions of used terms. In the classes students are offered to study the basic search strategies for selecting sources in modern databases, drawing up a list of references, abstracting articles that were selected during an independent search. Then students begin their work on their scientific theses and articles. Scientific articles prepared for publication are blindly reviewed by a foreign language teacher and directly by a specialist in a professional field. In addition to mastering new lexical and grammatical material, students improve the skills and abilities acquired in the previous stages of studying disciplines. Thus, the study of the features of academic writing is in close cooperation with the consideration of professional topics, which, in turn, contributes to the formation of future specialists who can not only communicate with experts but also analyze the scientific achievements of leading scientists and present the results of their own research to foreign academic audience. ////////// UKR: У статті висвітлено специфіку навчання наукового академічного письма студентів технічних спеціальностей в українських університетах. Метою статті є огляд основних 32 завдань навчання наукового письма, які поетапно реалізуються з урахуванням психолого педагогічних особливостей вивчення іноземної мови студентами технічних спеціальностей. Розглянуто зміст практичної роботи на занятті з основ наукового письма, зокрема, правила побудови тексту, деякі стилістичні рекомендації та лексико-граматичні особливості наукової мови, а також визначення вживаних термінів. У висновках зазначено, що оволодіння специфікою наукового письма тісно взаємодіє з розглядом тем професійного спрямування, що сприяє вихованню майбутнього фахівця.
