Ru: Cильфия — нетрадиционная кормовая культура, которая характеризуется высокой урожайностью зеленой массы, неприхотливостью в культуре, устойчивостью к неблагоприятным погодным условиям и хорошими кормовыми достоинствами. En: The chemical content and nutrition value data are given in this paper for the Sylphium perfoliatum green mass. The dry mass content of this green mass varies depending on the plant development phase and is within 129 - 247 g·kg-1. The fodder unit content in the blooming phase is 0.17 - 0.19 in 1 kg of the green mass. The ratio of sugar / dry protein indicates that this green mass is good for silo. Feeding the animals with Sylphium perfoliatum green mass should be done before the blooming time, when a considerably high energy concentration and its digestability is combined with the necessary protein amount.
