Abstract

The article considers modern means of distance learning for higher education applicants. The growing importance of the applicant’s independent activity and the need to separate the appropriate online platforms from the huge number of available Internet resources in order to optimize the learning process have been explained. Some means of distance learning for higher education students have been analyzed. The role of the teacher in the organization of the learning process on the one hand, and the presence of student motivation on the other have been indicated.
