Бізнес-модель блокчейн-системи ринку зернових культур України

Abstract

UA: У статті представлено концепцію бізнес-моделі блокчейн-системи ринку зернових культур України, сформовану з використанням підходу Business Model Canvas. Розгля нуто особливості цифровізації аграрного сектору та проаналізовано сучасний стан упровадження блокчейн-технологій у ланцюгах постачання. Запропоновано концепту альну модель, яку порівняно з реальними умовами функціонування українського ринку зернових культур. Виявлено основні бар’єри впровадження технології блокчейн, серед яких фрагментарність систем, правова невизначеність смартконтрактів і відсут ність уніфікованих протоколів обміну даними. Розроблено удосконалену Сanvas-модель, що інтегрує виробничі, логістичні, фінансові та регуляторні процеси у єдину децен тралізовану систему. Запропонована концепція визначає напрями переходу до прозорої, довірчої та ефективної цифрової екосистеми аграрного сектору України. /// EN: The article examines the development of a business model for Ukraine’s grain market blockchain system as a tool for enhancing transparency, efficiency, and trust among participants in the agricultural supply chain. The introductory part substantiates the relevance of the topic within the context of the digital transformation of the farm sector, global competition, and the growing demand for traceability of agricultural product origin. It is emphasised that the implementation of blockchain technologies is a crucial step toward Ukraine’s integration into European and global food markets, where digital data verification has become a standard of interaction among producers, traders, logistics operators, and regulatory authorities. The analytical section focuses on the current state of digitalisation in the Ukrainian agri-sector and the practical aspects of applying blockchain technology in managing grain supply chains. It is determined that existing implementation initiatives are mostly fragmented and often confined to internal corporate systems, without ensuring real decentralisation. The main development barriers are analysed, including the absence of a legally defined status for smart contracts, incompatibility of information systems among elevators, laboratories, banks, and customs authorities, as well as a generally low level of digital competence among market participants. The study proposes a conceptual business model based on the Business Model Canvas approach, which reflects key elements of interaction – data flows, value creation, partner networks, communication channels, and customer segments. The conclusions emphasise that the proposed Canvas model can ensure the integration of production, logistics, financial, and regulatory processes within a single decentralised environment, where each transaction is verified through the blockchain. This contributes to strengthening trust in Ukrainian grain exports, reducing the risk of data manipulation, and fostering the development of a competitive digital ecosystem in the agricultural sector. The obtained results form a scientific foundation for the further development of a national strategy for implementing blockchain solutions in food supply chains.
