| dc.description.abstract | Although progress is evident, current events demonstrate the presence of a range of significant challenges facing iinternational criminal justice. Studying iinternational criminal law not only makes it easier to comprehend these challenges but also increases awareness of how crucial it is to fight impunity and defend human rights. This paper’s goal is to add to the conversation about how iinternational law has influenced the evolution of iinternational criminal proceedings by applying human rights standards as a framework. On the basis of a narrative literature review and grounded theory elements, it looks at the close but complicated correlation of iinternational law subbranches, including iinternational criminal law, iinternational human rights, humanitarian law, and iinternational criminal procedures, as well as how iinternational human rights law can affect iinternational criminal proceedings. Finally, it tries to show whether the distinctive characteristics of iinternational law have affected iinternational criminal proceedings. In the current study, the narrative review method and qualitative modeling are used. The findings allow us to determine the actual inefficiency of the current infrastructure for providing justice for iinternational crimes, including war crimes; in particular, the challenges of iinternational criminal court activities are analyzed. Neorealism lenses are applied, allowing the conclusion that a new multilateralism and neorealism agenda, which represents a type of stakeholder interest management, can successfully address the issue of the noncooperation phenomenon. A conceptual model of new multilateralism for iinternational justice is suggested as the expedient vector for further development of the iinternational justice landscape. The findings emphasize the idea that a more effective and inclusive approach to global governance is emphasized by a new generation of multilateralism in iinternational justice, especially in regard to resolving concerns such as iinternational law, human rights, and the prevention of atrocities. This entails promoting participation from a wider range of stakeholders, ensuring more uniform and equitable enforcement of iinternational law, and updating established institutions such as the UN. | |
