Ретроспективний аналіз формування та розвитку змісту комп’ютерної освіти в університетах США

Abstract

UK: В статті порушується проблема формування і розвитку змісту комп’ютерної освіти в США на прикладі дисципліни «Інформаційні системи» (Information Systems), аналізуються події, які пришвидшили відділення дисципліни «Інформаційні системи» в окрему, як в університетах США, так й в усьому світі. Визначені фактори, через які розробка та введення дисципліни «Інформаційні системи» в навчальний процес уповільнювались. Показана динаміка становлення дисципліни у сукупності з визначними подіями в технічному прогресі комп’ютерних технологій та інформаційних систем зокрема, які є показником рівня технологічного розвитку суспільства. Обґрунтовано необхідність історичного огляду формування та розвитку змісту дисципліни «Інформаційні системи» як окремої академічної в змісті вищої комп’ютерної освіти від початку до сьогодні. RU: В статье поднимается проблема формирования и развития содержания компьютерного образования в США на примере дисциплины "Информационные системы" (Іnformatіon Systems), анализируются события, которые ускорили становление дисциплины "Информационные системы" в отдельную, как в университетах США, так и во всем мире. Определены факторы, из-за которых разработка и ввод дисциплины "Информационные системы" в учебный процесс замедлялся. Показана динамика становления дисциплины в совокупности со значимыми событиями в техническом прогрессе компьютерных технологий и информационных систем, в частности, которые являются показателем уровня технологического развития общества. Обоснована необходимость исторического обзора формирования и развития содержания дисциплины "Информационные системы" как отдельной академической в содержании высшего компьютерного образования от начала до сегодня. EN: The article proves the relevance of the research topic. Recent research results and publications have been analyzed, which testified to the present attention of scientists to the issue of formation of the "Information Systems" educational discipline. But despite this, the objective need to study the formation of the "Information Systems" discipline as an academic one at the universities of the United States of America with a promising opportunity to translate the study results into the practice of higher education institutions Ukraine during the teaching of the discipline "Information Systems" is shown. The list of significant historical events in the field of computer technologies from the period of the XХ to the beginning of the XXI century that shaped the development and establishment of the "Information Systems" discipline in the United States and the world has been formed. The listed methods are investigated. The necessity, conditions and factors of the formation of the discipline "Information Systems", as well as its further separation and the status of a special academic discipline have been described. The structure of the International Federation for Information Processing has been considered, existing working groups in the Technical Committee 8 have been analyzed, dealing with information systems as a separate field in computer technology. The main activity directions of working groups have been considered. Also, the article deals with problems that slowed the formation of the discipline "Information Systems" as a separate academic one. The main events and circumstances which promoted the reception of the status of the international academic discipline by the "Information Technologies" discipline have been analyzed. After the retrospective analysis of formation and development of the computer education content at US universities the main features of the "Information Systems" discipline as an academic branch have been highlighted.
