Інституційний підхід до оцінки творчості А. фон Дросте-Гюльсхоф: проблеми та перспективи

RU: В статье рассматриваются особенности творчества выдающейся немецкой поэтессы эпохи Реставрации А. фон Дросте-Гюльсхоф, оцениваемые в русле методик институционального подхода к изучению литературного наследия. Показано, что творчество Дросте представляет собой сложный феномен. Статья освещает возможности биографического, гендерного и институционального подходов к изучению литературного наследия Дросте. UK: У статті через призму інституційного підходу розглядаються особливості творчості А. фон Дросте-Гюльсхоф, автора низки видатних поетичних творів та оповідної прози в німецькій літературі ХІХ століття. Двоїстість творчої манери А. фон Дросте-Гюльсхоф подано як характерну рису, зумовлену інституційною системою Німеччини першої половини ХІХ століття.EN: The paper develops an institutionalist approach to assessing the writings of Annette von Droste-Hulshoff, an outstanding German poet of the Renaissance period. It is argued that these writings exhibit a pattern of complexity that is not completely reducible to biedermeyer, the prominent style of literature at that time. The implication of the argument is that the pluralism of the current analytical assessments of Droste’s lyrics reflects the interdependent ambiguity of both her poetic manner and social status. The institutionalist standpoint is thus shown to be deeply ingrained in the biographic and gender-sensitive approaches to Droste’s legacy. This standpoint is revealed in the attempts to trace the ambiguity of Droste’s poetry back to the ambiguity of her social status. The major result of the paper is that the apparent ambivalence of Droste’s work reflects not merely her internal psychic conflict but rather, at a deeper level, the dichotomy between ceremonial and instrumental valuation as developed in the work of later authors. The implication for further research is that the institutionalist approach encourages relocating the vision of the driving forces of personal creativity away from intra-personal conflict toward controversies in the institutional structure.
