EN: The monograph examines the medical-biological mechanisms of health, ethical and psychological and pedagogical principles of practical health preservation. The theoretical and methodological foundations of pedagogy of health; modern approaches to the establishment of a healthy preserving educational environment; the role of physical education in health preserving; prevention of harmful habits and socially dangerous diseases; health-saving educational technologies are highlighted.
