Abstract: UA: Стаття присвячена дослідженню функцій менеджменту підприємств готельного бізнесу на сучасному етапі розвитку готельного господарства України. Ґрунтуючись на різних підходах, проведено аналіз функцій управління готельним господарством. Визначені основні функції, необхідні для проведення ефективної діяльності готелів в цілому та його складових. EN: The hotel business is a major component of the tourism industry. Hotel enterprises perform one of the main functions in the field of tourist services: provide them with housing and household services during the trip. Hotel business enterprises are complex social systems. The main point of interaction of these social systems is their impact on the sphere of production of services, which causes changes both in the sphere of production of services and in the adjustment of the management process. Management functions are separate areas of management activities that allow to exert a certain influence on the management object in order to achieve the task. The management staff of the hotel company must have the knowledge and skills that will contribute to the creation and implementation of effective and progressive strategic decisions. The process of managing the production of services in the hotel business requires planning this activity, organizing the work of relevant structures (departments, services, units, offices), motivation (stimulation) of employees in the production of services, monitoring the performance of all departments. Coordination and regulation functions are components of the main functions. Thus, the functions of management planning, organization, motivation and control are the main ones in the hotel industry, as any other management activities are carried out through their consistent application. The planned development of the hotel is realized not only through planning, but also regulation. By means of regulation the certain rhythm of movement by all available resources and steady mutual relations between collectives is supported. Regulation manifests itself in such forms as the alignment of deviations from the results obtained in the desired direction. An important condition for the functioning of regulation is information security.
