dc.description.abstractThe possibility of increasing the effectiveness of sprayers of fruit trees by improving the deposition of droplets by using thermodynamic and chemical methods used in the operation of sprayers has been established. The studies were conducted on a pilot plant, based on an improved monodisperse aerosol generator, which consists of a test chamber, a droplet generator with a thermocouple, two dedicated volumes in which measurements are made, two pulsed illuminators of these volumes, upper camera and lower camera, an evaporator, a moist air generator, placed in a thermostat, and a damper. The dependence of condensation growth of droplets on thermodynamic parameters, such as humidity and air temperature and cooled droplet, respectively, and additions of hygroscopic substances, for example, ammonium nitrate and urea, which are simultaneously used for feeding plants, has been experimentally determined. The proposed sprayer scheme allows reducing the entrainment of aerosols and chemical vapors due to the formation of a cooling air curtain and the separation from the environment of collectors with nebulizers and tunnel-forming boards.uk
