    People consume information very fast due to algorithms. Many years ago, people used internet to find something specific, but today, the internet finds us. When we walk on the street, sit in a bus, or even listen to a lecture, we always look in our phones. Platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels are very popular because they use very short videos to catch our attention. This massive flow of fast information is changing how our brain works. It is very important to study this problem today, because modern folks spend many hours using their phones every day, and it’s changing their life.

    In the context of modern higher education, the search for effective methods to develop students’ foreign language communicative competence has become particularly relevant, as these methods should ensure not only the acquisition of linguistic knowledge but also the development of practical skills for using that knowledge in a professional setting. In this context, the Task-Based Learning (TBL) method is of particular interest. TBL is a communicative approach in which the language trainer or teacher facilitates the use of tasks at the core of language teaching. In this approach, the learners do meaningful activities or tasks.

    Digital European studies in higher education: humanistic dimensions of eu economic, social, and territorial synergy

    In the contemporary European context, higher education is increasingly shaped by the intersection of digital transformation, social inclusion, territorial cohesion, and long-term sustainability. For this reason, Digital European Studies should be understood not as a narrowly technological field but as an interdisciplinary educational space in which digital tools are considered alongside values, citizenship, critical reflection, and the social consequences of change. UNESCO’s roadmap on the future of higher education frames higher education as strategically important for building sustainable, resilient, and peaceful societies and emphasises that it should educate wellrounded professionals who are also citizens, acting with social responsibility at local and global levels (UNESCO, 2022). This perspective allows the humanistic dimension of digitalisation to be treated not as an optional supplement but as one of its conceptual foundations.

    Religious vocabulary and biblical allusions in english language teaching: contemporary challenges, students’ needs, and the prospects of corpus-informed instruction

    The integration of religious vocabulary and biblical allusions into English Language Teaching (ELT) presents a multifaceted challenge in contemporary educational contexts. While English remains deeply rooted in Judeo-Christian traditions, modern classrooms are increasingly diverse, requiring pedagogical approaches that balance cultural literacy with inclusivity. The findings from corpus analysis of the Biblical English Corpus (BEC) and the Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA) provide a robust empirical foundation for understanding the linguistic behaviour of religious vocabulary and its relevance for language instruction. These findings not only confirm the quantitative and functional significance of religious lexis but also illuminate how corpus-informed methodologies can enhance teaching practices.
